Local artist Susan O'Kelly is hugely inspired by nature and her local surroundings. Some pieces are quite naturalistic while others are more abstract. She enjoys the freeness of the abstract but also loves representing iconic landmarks or seascapes from where she grew up in North County Dublin and different landscapes that represent her Irish heritage.
Using vibrant and intense colour combinations to create a range of tones and movement within each piece, often portraying the familiar in a unique and expressive way. She creates original art pieces on different mediums including ceramic and glass. All images are created, printed and framed in Ireland.
