These earrings are inspire by one of the designer's favourite bird legends , that of St Kevin , founder of Glendalough and are handmade in her studio in Athlone.

He was a hermit and lover of animal and birds .While he was praying, a blackbird landed on his hand, built her nest and laid her egg, in an act of kindness he didn’t move until the baby bird had flown.

Birds have appealed to our imagination from the beginning of time .Some of the earliest jewellery found depicts birds.

These earrings are light and comfortable to wear and look great with any outfit .
