Angela O'Keefe
Angela O' Keefe is a Scottish goldsmith and contemporary jewellery designer based in Cobh, Co. Cork. Her designs are characterised by clean lines and sculptural forms, inspired by the urban environment, structure and bold geometry.
Each piece of jewellery is hand-made by Angela using the art of traditional goldsmithing combined with a modern methodology. Angela was educated at Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Florence, Italy where she developed her process driven by experimentation followed by a traditional Goldsmithing apprenticeship at the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland.
With more than a decade of experience, Angela's love of making is evident in each piece, with a focus on refinement of finish and beautiful craftsmanship. She has won numerous awards including the Award for Excellence at The British Craft Trade Fair, Editors Choice at International Jewellery London and a Future Makers Award from the Design and Craft Council of Ireland. Angela has also exhibited internationally at the Museum of Arts and Design, New York and Norton Museum of Art, West Palm Beach.
